Most supplies still come from wild harvest, though cultivation is well under way so supply is reliable. Mountain Pepper is hot and peppery with a hint of chilli afterburn. The berries have a distinctive spicy, pungent taste and are very aromatic, giving them a unique savoury flavour.The berries can be used fresh or dried and used whole or ground. They can be used in a pepper mill. Mountain Pepper can be used in any recipe that calls for pepper, but mountain pepper has much more punch!
